Mental health issues have been in the spotlight recently, and with good reason. It is a disease just like any other and deserves treatment just like any disease. Lucky in the UK we have an excellent public healthcare service (no thanks to the Tories and fuck you Farage!) but there is still a disturbing lack of resources dedicated to mental health therapy.
For my inaugural blog post I’ve decided to talk about mental health and how one particular technique helped me with my own struggle with anxiety and depression. I hope you find something useful in these words.

Mental health refers to the status of your mind, thoughts, emotions, cognition and behavior. It affects how we interact with others, how we reason and how we perform our day to day activities. Mental health is divided into two improved mental health and impaired mental health.
A person is said to have optimal (improved) mental health when they have full control of themselves when they can realize their potential when they can be aware of their problems and be able to cope with them and lastly, those that make a reasonable contribution to themselves and to the society around them. If one cannot achieve all of the above they are said to have an impaired mental health where lots of therapy is needed, more precisely, hypnotherapy.

Mental health is of paramount significance in our daily lives. It is what that ensures a country runs well, helps us make the right choices, you perform your job well, people are able to mingle and continue with their lives perfectly when there is optimal mental health.

When we have a right functioning mental system, our concentration, our focus, our energy and sharpness of the mind is improved.

We can be able to do big things since we have a great functioning mental health. It also improves self-esteem because deep in you, you feel you have a sense of purpose in this world.

When we have optimal mental health, we tend to enjoy more things and live life. Impaired mental state presents as depression, anxiety, stress, addictions, physiological and emotional distress among many others. These symptoms make us not to enjoy our lives to the fullest. Improved mental health status attracts more people towards you. Depression, panic or maniac behaviors put away so many people and make you tend to be so lonely.
